ARTCLIMA: Art on Climate Change, Lima-Paris Route

As part of the activities and actions and the construction of the national climate change agenda in the road to the  Paris COP21, The Ministry of Environment convenes the ArtCLima art contest aimed at national artists interested in climate change issues. The aim of the competition is to present an artistic project at the COP21 in Paris, in order to create a space for discussion, awareness, communication and exchange of experiences from the field of art.

The contest-winning artist will travel to the COP21 in Paris and showcase its proposal under the ARTCOP21 art platform, with logistical support from the competition organizers.

Also, the winner will have the opportunity to participate in exchanges with artists and groups working on environmental issues in the context of planned activities.

  • Deadline for project receipt: October 9
  • Contest launch date: August 28


  • August 28: Launch of contest and announcement.
  • October 9: Deadline for submission of applications.
  • October 19: Winner announcement.
  • October-November: Coordination and logistics for the project in Paris.
  • December: Trip to Paris.
