On Saturday December 5, Elisenda Estrems, winner of the ArtClima competition organized by the Ministry of the Environment  of Peru (MINAM), debuted her “Sacred – vital” project at the “Generation with climate” COP21 public forum.

The project shows a procession during which a large block of ice is carried on a traditional platform in Peru, and which thaws as time passes and the procession moves on. As a background to the presentation, a traditional band played the music used in the homage paid to the “Apus” or mountain Gods as part of the ceremony to propitiate a good year.
